Since moving in to 18 Stone Rings Close three years ago the garden has been an ongoing project for Jude and Keith. Presented with a blank canvas they set about transforming the plain sloping lawn into a landscaped area with interesting boarders, summer house, stone folly, 9M bridge and gazebo covered decking overlooking Stone Rings Beck. What made the ‘project’ particularly challenging was the inability to get any mechanical diggers into the area – it all has been done by hand!

 

The next stage of the project is to extend the raised patio area and build a composite decked connect between this and the summer house. This will result in framing the lawn ready for raising by 6 inches and then re-turfing.
